What Eye Enhancements are Available?

Eyelash enhancement: (dots between lashes), basic eyeliner: (thin line between lashes), shaded colour eyeliner: (choice of colour), Intense liner: (Bold above lash line)

What is a Brow Procedure?

Treatments for the brow range from filling in a scar, lengthening the tail of the brow or building up the bulb of the brow to a full eyebrow design and reconstruction. A soft pencil look or natural hair stroke technique is available.

How can Lips Benefit?

A liner is applied to the existing shape of the lip to give more definition (thin or thick). A liner and part blend /blush is where the liner colour is slightly blended to give a more natural appearance. A lip contour/ full blush: this is when lips are reshaped to give a symmetrical or fuller appearance and colour blended across the whole lip area.

How Long Does it Take to Have a Treatment?

You will need to allow 1.5 - 2 hours for your first procedure, 1 hour for a top up/ colour boost. This includes your full consultation, colour selection, anaesthetic application, drawing on the enhancement and consent form completion. The intradermal procedure itself takes approx 30 minutes.

How Long Does it Last?

Your permanent cosmetics will last for around for 1-3 years, depending on skin type, darkness of pigment colour, medication and aftercare. Over this time the pigment colour will fade and lighten. To maintain a fresh look a colour boost is recommended every 2 years, instructions are also provided to help protect your enhancement.

Does it Hurt?

Some clients feel no discomfort at all - others feel minimal discomfort. Clients say that a procedure is similar to having their eyebrows plucked, or it feels like a vibrating, scratching sensation, I use a topical cream to desensitize the area and stretch techniques to minimise discomfort.

What Preparation is Needed?

Pre procedure advice is given to all clients and medical health form completion is required before a procedure takes place. A patch test is also carried out to test for reactions to pigment or numbing cream.

Will it be Noticeable, Swollen or Red

After a procedure the area treated will be 30- 50% darker and more defined. This will last for a few days until the area exfoliates, you may have slight redness however this is hardly noticeable and usually subsides within a few hours.

How many Treatments do I Need?

Following the initial application, a top up is conducted 4-8 weeks later – this is to fine tune colour and shape – a few extra hair strokes may be added to brows in a darker colour, eyeliner may be made thicker or lips made darker.   As the treated area heals the colour softens and lightens by 30 – 50% – less is always best as enhancements can be made more obvious at the top up visit. This top up is included in the initial procedure price.

What About After Care?

You will be given comprehensive after care instructions along with a balm to assist healing. Aftercare is essential to ensure perfect results. It is recommended that you refrain from using sauna’s, chlorinated swimming pools or using a sun bed for at least a week – thus giving the area a chance to seal & heal.
